Cape Town - Ellen DeGeneres and Brad Pitt might have a little more in common than we thought.
During an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actor along with host Ellen recalled how they’d known each other for decades and how they could’ve possibly dated the same woman, Page Six reported.
The pair revealed that they met at a pool party. "I remember a Melissa Etheridge pool party, where I think you were hitting on my girlfriend," the 55-year-old actor quipped.
"Was I hitting on your girlfriend? Really?" responded a calm but not surprised Ellen, to which Brad added, "I think so – I was flattered."
As if that wasn’t awkward enough, the 61-year-old further revealed that she has a history with one of his exes.
"I actually sense that I’ve dated another one of your girlfriends," she said. "We’ll talk about that later."
"After the show," Brad added before Ellen could divulge any information.

Brad also spent much of the first half of Ellen's show interrupting her, posing as a member of the audience.
She eventually invited him on stage and when he made his way to her she quipped, "We're out of time."
