Cape Town - With the Duke and Duchess of Sussex expecting their first bundle of joy, the world has gone into baby fever. Royal watchers are even wagering Meghan may birth twins.

While the former actress’ pregnancy will be much like any other woman who’s expecting, there are a few very unique baby rules the royal will have to follow, the Mirror reports.
HERE ARE 5 RULES MEGHAN MUST FOLLOW:
1. Keeping the baby’s gender a secret
Even Meghan (37) and Harry (34) will have to wait until the former actress has given birth before they find out the sex of the baby.
At an engagement in Birkenhead earlier this week the royal confirmed to members of the crowd that she doesn’t know whether she’s having a boy or a girl, but many people have strong opinions about that they think the sex is, People magazine reports.
2. The queen will be the first to know
Queen Elizabeth II (92) will be the first one to be informed about the birth of the baby.
According to the Daily Mail, Prince William (36) called Her Majesty on an encrypted phone shortly after the births of all his children.
3. No baby shower
While baby showers don’t go against any protocol it’s highly unlikely Meghan will have one.
According to ABC News, royal expert Victoria Arbiter says there’s no need for the former actress to have a baby shower, and the event wouldn’t look good in the eyes of the people, especially those who oppose the monarchy.
"[They have] added pressure that they’re clearly very wealthy, and a lavish baby shower would be seen as highly inappropriate," she said.
"There's nothing they can't go out and buy themselves," she added.
4. The baby will be wrapped in a knitted blanket
Traditionally, royal babies are wrapped in lacy knitted shawls made in Nottingham, England, before their first introduction to the public. If the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a little girl, she’ll wear a tiny knitted cap to match, Good Housekeeping reports.
5. Naming the baby after royals
Royal babies are always named after either past or present members of the monarchy. Three-year-old Princess Charlotte of Cambridge’s full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, her name paying tribute to grandfather Prince Charles (70), great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth and her late grandmother, Princess Diana.
