Cape Town - It’s been almost two weeks since Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk tied the knot.

Now, the actress has spoken to Glamour UK about her wedded bliss.

“It’s fantastic. I feel so lucky, and I’m so grateful,” she told the magazine.

“It’s different to be in your mid-40s, do it again and bring all your experience, your pain, your happiness, suffering – everything. It’s actually very heartening. I feel very optimistic!” the 46-year-old added.

According to USA Today, the actress and businesswoman got all “goopy” when talking about Brad (47).

When the interviewer, Josh Newis-Smith, remarked that her energy and warmth was palpable, Gwyneth responded: “Well, you have my husband to thank for that.”

Gwyneth and Brad announced their wedding on Instagram with a picture of them holding hands, sporting matching gold bands. The wedding took place at the end of September.

The couple, who got engaged in January, tied the knot in the Hamptons, New York.

According to E! Online the wedding, though intimate, was a star-studded affair and guests included her Iron Man co-star Robert Downey Jr, as well as Hollywood A-listers Cameron Diaz (with muso hubby Benji Madden), Jerry Seinfeld and wife, Jessica, as well as legendary director Steven Spielberg.

The actress was recently in Paris, France, for the second leg of her extravagant European honeymoon, which started in Italy, People magazine reports.

This is Gwyneth’s second marriage. In 2014 she split from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin after 10 years of marriage. The two share daughter Apple (14) and son Moses (12).
