These celebs have been getting their fit on!

Several online challenges have popped up due to a lot of people being on social media since the global pandemic forced us all into lockdown.

And while that has stopped people from being able to go to the gym daily, some celebs and influencers haven’t let it get in the way of gaining some muscle.

Here are a few celebrities who have been guiding us through it all by sharing their home workouts.

Take a look:

Unathi Nkayi

Fans have watched the Idol judge’s body evolution journey and she now wants to continue to inspire others with her transformation.

The musician recently uploaded a video on Instagram of her jumping rope and challenged her followers to skip 1 000 times – yes you read that right, a thousand skips a day to stay fit during the lockdown.

Somizi Mhlongo

It doesn’t take hours to break a sweat and Somizi proved that to us by sharing his 20-minute workout on Instagram.

The choreographer also reassured his followers that he’d go live on social media and find fun ways of helping fans exercise during this time by incorporating the dance exercise moves from his DVD “Grinding with Somizi”.

DJ Cleo

Award-winning record producer and jock Cleo took to social media to show fans his gruelling workout routine in his home gym set up and it looked quite inspiring.

Nadia Nakai

Rapper Nadia Nakai took to Instagram to candidly share her fears of gaining back the weight she worked so hard to lose, saying: “I don’t want to come out of this 21-day quarantine fat . . . because I am eating every hour . . . all the time.”

It’s led her to getting a personal trainer, who also happens to be her best friend, to help keep her fit during this time – and she’s shared the journey with her fans too.

Siya Kolisi

Our World Cup winner rugby captain, Siya Kolisi, has to stay in shape to compete in  the gruelling game.

In an attempt to maintain his fitness level, Siya proposed that his fans join in on his daily fitness routine during the lockdown period – and we’re all for it.
