Cape Town - It seems like Will Smith is a jack of all trades!

On Wednesday the I Am Legend actor stunned his fans when he made his comedy debut while opening for Dave Chappelle at the Peppermint Club in Los Angeles, reports E! News.

The 49-year-old’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith and daughter Willow Smith attended the performance to show their support.

Celebrities including Katt Williams, Michelle Wolf, Lebron James, and John Stewart were among many celebs who were there for the show.

"Will Smith did a stand-up for the first time ever, he'd never done it and that was his very first time," a source told the publication.

"He laid it down! He killed it. He's a natural storyteller but he had everybody laughing.

"Jada and Willow were there to watch, they had their own designated table toward the very front of the stage and they were all hanging out there.

"Jada was next to Willow and they had a few other girlfriends in the booth too. Will was so funny, he talked about Jada and how he lost control of his house since she’s recording her show in there.”

Even though his son Jaden didn’t attend the show, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor still managed to crack a joke or two about him.

"He also joked about how he found out about Jaden's Icon single on Spotify and went home to ask Jaden about it and if he could be on his remix and Jaden was like, 'Umm no.'

"He said the next day he messed with Jaden a little more at home by bringing out all his Grammys and music awards, throwing it in Jaden's face," the source added.

Will took to Instagram to express how excited he was about doing his first comedy show.

"I did stand up last night . . . FIRST TIME EVER! I opened for Dave Chappelle. I AM HOOKED," Will Smith wrote on Instagram.

But stand-up comedy isn’t the only thing the Concussion actor is up to. Will recently revealed that he would like to jump out of a helicopter over the Grand Canyon.

On Thursday, the actor shared a video on YouTube of his first bungee jump while at the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

"You know, you say yes to things long before you actually know what they are," Smith said.
