Cape Town - Janet Jackson reportedly called the police on Saturday over concerns about her one-year-old son Eissa Al Mana’s well-being.

The toddler was apparently spending the night with his father, Wissam Al Mana, at Nobu hotel in California, when the 52-year-old called the police, a spokesperson for Malibu’s Lost Hills sheriff station told People.

“Deputies were there [and] called to the scene. They decided the child was okay and they left,” the spokesperson said.

TMZ reports local police went to check up on the little boy at the hotel but “found no one to be in danger”.

The Together Again singer was allegedly alerted by her son's nanny to aggressive behaviour displayed by her estranged husband, which left the singer concerned about her child's safety.

Janet and Wissam, who got secretly married in 2012 and welcomed their son in January 2017 but called it quits three months later, reports ET Online.

A source also revealed they’re committed to co-parenting, but have no plans to reconcile their marriage.

“All Janet wants to do is move forward and be the best mother to her son and to be happy," the source said.
