Johannesburg - Duchesses in diamonds!
The royal family stepped out to celebrate Prince Charles' 70th birthday at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday evening.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton were spotted arriving at the birthday bash in style.
But the duchesses stole the show!
Donning a glamorous up-do and gorgeous drop earrings, Meghan was seen arriving in a car alongside her husband, the Duke of Sussex.
The Duchess of Cambridge also went very glam for the occasion, opting for an updo too which complemented exquisite drop earrings and a one-shoulder ruffled pink dress.
The duchesses’ hairdos showed off their glittering diamond jewellery to perfection.
Kate’s pear-shaped earrings were set around a beautiful stone, while Meghan chose earrings she previously wore in Fiji during her and Harry’s royal tour last month.
According to Hello Magazine, a number of famous guests and European royalty were also at the private party.
A reception was held in the State Rooms, followed by a sit-down dinner.
Newlyweds Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank were also seen arriving at the celebration.
On the eve of the future King of England's birthday, new royal portraits were released.
The sweet family snaps feature Prince George on his grandfather's lap on a bench, while Princess Charlotte sits smiling next to Camilla.
Asked how he felt on his 70th birthday, Charles told reporters on Wednesday: “I’m not sure. It’s rather like indigestion.”
