We’re more used to seeing her on The Voice USA, but Kelly Clarkson was in full mama mode at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, UglyDolls.

The Voice mentor and pop star arrived with her hubby, talent manager Brandon Blackstock (42), and their four children – daughters Savannah (17) and River (4) and sons Seth (12) and Remington (3). River and Remington are the couple’s kids while Savannah and Seth are Blackstock’s children from a previous relationship, People reports.

The occasion marked the first time the Love So Soft hitmaker, who portrays the character Moxy in the animated family flick, has appeared with all four children at a celebrity event.

The 37-year-old also showcased her new slimmed-down figure in a hot pink Siriano gown as she smiled and posed for photos.

Speaking to E News she admitted that navigating the red carpet with two little ones “was not for the faint of heart”. But River seems more than ready to follow in her famous mom’s footsteps.

“When we got here we said to her, ‘Now don't be freaked out. When we get on the red carpet, they're gonna be yelling mommy's name. Don't get freaked out. Just keep smiling. And what she got from that was, ‘Why are they only screaming your name?’ She was like, ‘Why aren't they screaming my name?’ ”

The tot also makes a cameo alongside her mom in the recently released music video for the film’s title track, Broken & Beautiful.

Speaking about the song, Kelly says, “It’s one of my favourite things that I’ve ever been able to record,” in part because it was written by fellow singer Pink and carries a strong message of empowerment.

Being approached for the film – which carries a strong message that it’s okay to be different – was a dream come true for the star. “I love animated films, so I was like, ‘That’s rad!’ ” she told People magazine.

It co-stars Emma Roberts, Janelle Monáe, Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton and Pitbull.
