Reality star Kim Kardashian is in hot water – again!
Kim’s beauty company, KKW Beauty, recently released three new fragrances – Peachy, Cherry, and Vibes – for her Kimoji line.
Kim took to Instagram to share a picture of herself and the new fragrances to promote her latest business project.
But KKW Beauty is now facing a lawsuit after she allegedly stole a trademarked logo.
One of the new fragrances, Vibes, features a logo that is believed to have been trademarked in 2012 by Vibe Media, People reports.
Vibe Media has filed a suit demanding that the Vibes perfume shouldn’t be sold anymore and that any unsold bottles of it be destroyed, as it says KKW Beauty has no right to use the Vibes logo, TMZ reports.
Thus far, there’s been no comment from the Kardashian camp.
This isn’t the first time Kimmy has faced a lawsuit. Last year in August her company Kimsaprincess Inc faced a patent infringement lawsuit amounting to $100 million (around R1,3 billion) for marketing a light-up cellphone case similar to one made by the company Snaplight, Vogue reports.
Kim had been promoting a smartphone case called the LuMee. It has a built-in LED light that makes it easier for someone to take a really good selfie, but Snaplight claims the idea was originally theirs.
