It seems pop divas Lady Gaga and Madonna have buried the hatchet.

Following her win for Best Original Song and her sultry performance with co-star Bradley Cooper at the Oscars on Sunday, Lady Gaga attended Madonna’s post-Oscars celebration – where she was spotted posing for pictures with the hostess herself.

The pair have had a rocky relationship since 2011 when Madonna claimed Gaga’s single Born This Way was a rip-off of her 1989 song Express Yourself, Sun UK reports.

Madonna posted a snap on Instagram of the two cosying up with the caption: “Don’t mess with Italian girls.”

In 2011 Gaga was forced to deny accusations that she’d ripped off Madonna’s Express Yourself, People reports. Madonna’s response to the denial at the time was, “I said, ‘That sounds familiar.’ I certainly think she references me a lot in her work . . . Obviously, I’ve influenced her.”

In a 2015 interview with Rolling Stone, Madonna said that she wanted to embrace other female artists and addressed her feud with Gaga by saying, “The only time I ever criticized Lady Gaga was when I felt like she blatantly ripped off one of my songs.

“It’s got nothing to do with ‘She’s taking my crown’, or ‘She’s in some space of mine.’ She has her thing. I do think she’s a very talented singer and songwriter.”

A year later, Gaga took a dig at the 60-year-old in an interview on Beats 1 radio show where she rejected the comparisons between herself and Madonna.

“I wouldn’t make that comparison at all. I don’t mean to disrespect Madonna . . . she’s a nice lady. And she’s had a fantastic, huge career.

“But I play a lot of instruments. I write all my own music. I spend hours and hours a day in the studio. I’m a producer. I’m a writer. What I do is different.”

Judging by Madonna’s recent Instagram snap, it’s all love between the two Hollywood divas.
