A new animated comedy series based on the British royal family is set to have us giggling.
Gary Janetti, producer of Family Guy, is set to create the series titled The Prince, following his wildly popular Prince George memes on Instagram.
The American is said to be voicing the young prince, who’s third in line to the throne, alongside the likes of Orlando Bloom and Alan Cumming, Daily Mail reports.
Janetti regularly leaves followers in stitches with his hysterical posts and memes from Prince George's point of view, casting the young boy as a sassy commentator on all things royal and celebrity.
The series is written and executive produced by him for HBO Max and chronicles the six-year-old prince spilling the “tea” on his family, followers and the monarchy, Deadline reports.
Orlando Bloom stars as Prince Harry, Condola Rashad as Meghan Markle, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton, Tom Hollander as Prince Philip and Prince Charles, Cumming as George’s butler, Frances de la Tour as the queen and Iwan Rheon as Prince William.
“I’m thrilled to be working at HBO Max and bringing them yet another series about a family ruthlessly fighting for the throne,” Janetti told Variety.
News of the series comes hot on the heels of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step back from their roles as senior members of the royal family.
