South Africans can look forward to the first ever Project Runway South Africa!

The fashion show about designers competing against each other will be aired on Mzanzi Magic as of Tuesday 10 July at 21h30. The show is derived from the American version of the fashion show, which is a hit in America and has viewers across the world.

The first season of Project Runway South Africa will be hosted by presenter Lerato Kganyago and on the judging panel sits founder and CEO of Ndalo Media Khanyi Dhlomo, fashion icon Noni Gasa, designers Gert-Johan Coetzee and Rahim Rawjee.

Speaking at the official launch of the show Lerato said she felt honoured to be chosen as the host and jokingly said she looked forward to be the face of Mzanzi Magic. “It feels so unreal. I am so excited to be the chosen one. To work with such a beautiful production team from directors to cameramen, has been great,” she said.
