Cape Town - Samuel L. Jackson is living up to the name of his Marvel character Nick Fury after he went on an expletive social media rant about an error in the poster of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
On Monday the Hollywood actor re-posted a photo taken of two posters promoting his upcoming film.
The one poster shows Nick Fury with his signature eye patch placed over his left eye while in the other, his eye patch is incorrectly over the right eye, FOX News reports.
"Uhhhhhhh, What in the actual F**** is going on here???!!!," the actor captioned the picture, adding the hashtags, "#headsgonroll #lefteyemuthaf***ah."
Pom Klementieff (33), the actress who plays Mantis in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, commented with three laughing with tears emojis, USA Today reports.
The original photo was initially posted by a Marvel fan on Reddit with the title, "Which eye did he injure?"
Reddit users were quick to chime in with one user jokingly commenting, "All this time Nick Fury has just been defrauding the government for disability."
"Obviously, one of the pictures is actually a selfie which is why it’s flipped compared to the other," another user quipped.
The 70-year-old’s character has remained a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise ever since his debut in the first Iron Man film in 2008.
Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man as well as singer Zendaya and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Representatives of Sony have not yet responded to the poster error.
