SOCIAL SNIPPET: KFM brings the swag at their line-up launch party

Cape Town – We got to hang with the KFM crew at Shimmy Beach Club on Wednesday night for the launch of their refreshed DJ line-up.

What’s it about?

KFM and CapeTalk launched a refreshed line-up just in time for summer! And what better way to celebrate than with a VIP party at Shimmy Beach Club? From the food to the refreshments, and even a surprise visit from DIY queen Suzelle, the KFM crew knows how to throw a party.

Overheard:

*The whole crew was dressed by Zando for the launch party. (Special shoutout to all the KFM girls, you looked stunning!

*DJ Carl Wastie, the newest member to join KFM, has already moved into the new 13:00 - 16:00 slot on KFM.

*Another exciting addition sees Ryan O’Connor's Breakfast Show extended by an hour, giving fans even more of their favourite start to the day.

*Daytime changes include a Voicenote-driven hour making office listeners an integral part of the programming.

*Ian Bredenkamp moves to the Weekend Breakfast show - he’ll focus on hyper-local content, covering events and lifestyle topics.

*Over the last few months, KFM has started to introduce WhatsApp in the overall mix of their sound. The uptake of WhatsApp has been seamless and has opened another dimension to the sound of Cape Town through their listeners, according to Colleen Louw, Station Manager of KFM.

*The new daytime roster looks like this:

06:00 – 10:00 KFM Breakfast with Ryan O'Connor
10:00 – 11:00 What’s Up In the Workplace
