These are trying times – even for celebs.
During the lockdown some of our favourites local stars have taken part in the #NationalLotteryThankYouChallenge on their social media pages to share the simple things they’re thankful for.
Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa
The actress says spending time with her two precious boys, Anesu and Asante, has been her greatest joy during the lockdown.
“Thank you to the frontliners and parents for being super Saiyan [superhuman] in this time of need,” she captioned her post.
Elma Smit
Among many other things the sports broadcaster says she’s happy and grateful for the amusement provided by her cat, Frank.
“I’m so grateful for the leadership we’ve seen in this time, and all the efforts of all the healthcare professionals out there . . . and to my cat for providing some entertainment,” Elma tweeted.
Siya Kolisi
The Springbok captain isn’t taking his privileges for granted.
“I’m thankful for God for providing for my family each and every single day. I’m thankful for my family, I’m thankful for my talent, that I can do what I love,” he wrote on Instagram.
Jessica Nkosi
The actress took to Instagram to say she’s thankful for having a roof over her head and for having running water. She also sent her special thanks to “every single person who’s waking up every day to go to work because their services are needed”.
Liesl Laurie
The former Miss South Africa is grateful she’s not lonely and can spend quality time with her mom.
