Kate Middleton has revealed the cute nickname Prince George calls his dad Prince William.

The royal couple recently visited the British city of Leicester to pay tribute to those who died in a helicopter crash in October, including Leicester City football club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, eonline reports.

Fiona Sturgess (48), a volunteer at the tribute site, said she chatted to the Duchess of Cambridge during their visit.

“Kate said William was playing football with the children last night and one of them said, I think it was George, ‘Are you playing football tomorrow, Pops?’ ”

Fiona said Kate responded, “No!”, People reports.

Kate was photographed leaving a bouquet of flowers at the site, along with a card signed by the couple reading, “To Vichai and all those who died in this terrible tragedy, you’ll be dearly missed.

“Our sincere condolences to the city of Leicester.”

Speaking to royal fans and volunteers who helped to move flowers and other tributes to a dedicated site, Kate said she was excited to meet her sister-in-law Meghan Markle’s baby, and also spoke about her own three children, hellomagazine reports.

In a 2016 documentary honouring Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, Kate shared details about her children’s relationship with the monarch and opened up about the sweet nickname they have for her.

“George is only two-and-a-half and he calls her ‘Gan-Gan,’ ” she said, adding, “She always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay, and that just shows her love for her family.”
