Cape Town - Prince Harry and Meghan had to spend their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple apart.
The Duke of Sussex spent Valentine’s Day in Norway, away from his pregnant wife, the Duchess of Sussex.
He was visiting Exercise Clockwork, a British armed forces training site in Bardufoss, Norway, which is 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle.
But troops had a Valentine’s Day surprise for him. According to E! Online, Harry was taken inside a Quincey Shelter, which resembles a makeshift igloo, during his visit.
The igloo was decorated with wedding pictures of the couple and candles, with music playing as he entered, USA Today reports.
“You weirdos,” Harry reportedly joked when he saw the decorations.
This isn’t the first time the couple spent an important day apart. On the anniversary of their engagement in November, Harry went to Zambia in Africa for a two-day state visit, while Duchess Meghan stayed home in London.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are gearing up to welcome their first child together. The royal baby is expected to arrive some time in April.
