Cape Town - Springbok rugby player Siya Kolisi’s wife, Rachel, has posted the cutest video on Instagram of their son, Nicholas (3), singing the national anthem with gusto.
The video starts off with the boy, wearing his Springbok jersey, proudly holding a rugby ball. But what you hear next will melt your heart.
With his eyes tightly shut he sings the national anthem – in his own words – as his mom softly giggles in the background. “If you’ve had a bad day today,” Rachel wrote, “turn the volume right up.”
And everyone loves it! Proteas cricketer Wayne Parnell and his wife, Aisha, are crazy about the video.
"I can’t deal. This is so cute and funny! Go Bokke!" Aisha wrote.
Rugby star Cheslin Kolbe’s wife, Layla, wrote: "The best. You go, my boy!"
Olympic athlete Wayde van Niekerk’s wife, Chesney, couldn’t get enough of the video. "Uit die diepte van our land! What a legend," she wrote.
One person commented that the boy definitely is a future Springbok captain.
Siya and Rachel also have a five-month-old daughter, Keziah.
The couple also care for Siya’s younger brother, Liyema (15), and sister Phelo (10).
