It's two days before Christmas and investigator, Andrea (Catherine Walker) is called by an insurance company to investigate a fatal accident on board an oil rig in the North Sea.

Andrea and helicopter pilot Jens (Søren Malling) make the standard work trip, expecting to return home before the holiday. But when Andrea's investigation points to foul play, she realises that she might not make it back to her family in time.

Another crew member falls victim to an unfortunate accident. But when a hurricane hits the rig, all communication to the mainland is lost, and the crew is stranded - with a killer on-board.

Andrea finds that the crew unwilling to talk to her and she has a hard time finding out the truth.

But aside from the murderous plot, the crew members are entangled within their underhanded activities, which include drug trafficking and steamy affairs.

The oil rig is the perfect setting for the classic "whodunit" plot. There is nowhere for the victims to run and cut-off from all communication, the murderer is always keeping a close eye.

The strong winds and roaring ocean definitely ramp up the suspense factor, and even though a big chunk of the dialogue is in Norwegian, the subtitles are easy to follow.

Why not play Sherlock for a day, and see if you can solve the mystery before the end credits?
