The Alternative Grammys

2013-02-12 14:33
So much went down at this year's Grammy awards besides the trophies and the performances.

Side-eyes, on-stage disses, remarkable fashion choices and more ensured that the Grammy ceremony was the most interesting awards show of the season so far. Check out some the night's best and worst moments with these hilarious GIFs.

Congrats to all the winners, but now it's time to pay attention to the real stars of music's biggest night.

Channel24 presents the 2013 Alternative Grammy Awards.

Best Dressed
Rihanna. She looked like a vision in her red Azzedine Alaia creation with matching nails and lips. This is the prettiest we've seen her look in years.

Worst Dressed
Ashanti looked like she was trying way too hard in her see-through, booby black gown with strange adornments. Pick a style, girlfriend, and stick with it.

Biggest Diss
Chris Brown remaining seated while everyone else gave Frank Ocean a standing ovation.

Lamest Diss
Taylor Swift mocking her ex Harry Styles with a British accent during her performance. We are never, ever, ever... going to care who you date again.

Musical Appreciation
This one goes to Ellen DeGeneres for admiring singer Katy Perry's best assets.

Best Performance
Rihanna takes it again! Her emotional rendition of Stay with Mikky Ekko moved the crowd and showed she's so much more than a music video star.

Worst Performance
Frank Ocean. Maybe it was a technical issue, maybe not, but either way, he couldn't find a single note during Forrest Gump. A shame, because it's a good song otherwise.

Most Welcome Comeback
JT! Justin's first performance in about six years left us all wondering: What is he doing with Jessica Biel?! He's so cool... way too cool for her. Sigh.

Cheated out of a Grammy
Jennifer Lopez's right leg.

Best Intro Speech
When Adele introduced the nominees for Album of the Year: "Most artists who win album of the year tend to go on to have even more phenomenal global success, embark on humungous tours, or get knocked up like last year's winner."

It was a fun show indeed. But now it's time for all the seriousness. Undoubtedly the biggest night of awards season has to be the Oscars, coming up on Sunday 24 February. We'll be bringing you all the news, winners, losers, disses and photos first.
