Will you bow down to Beyoncé?

Queen Bey is living up to her nickname and may have just unleashed a reign of terror on the world.

Beyoncé recently shared a snippet of her new music and she's not holding back in the single Bow Down.

She sings: "I know when you were little girls you dreamt of being in my world / Don't forget it / Respect that / Bow Down bitches / I took my time to live my life but don't think I'm just his little wife."

Wow. That's bold.

Actually I dreamt of living in a house like the one on Santa Barbara and going to high school with the Beverly Hills 90210 kids (I watched a lot of TV, okay).

Sure, I'll admit Beyoncé's all that and a bag of chips. But bragging about it like this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Who is she trying to show up? Who is she mad at?

We've been throwing around a few ideas.

Perhaps the song is directed at people like Rihanna, Jay-Z's former protegé, and Kim Kardashian, Kanye West's baby mama. Maybe she's just tired of them trying to be her BFF and they clearly didn't get the message when she sang "to the left, to the LEFT!"

Is she still mad about the lip-synching brouhaha at Obama's inauguration? Or maybe she's sour about the rather negative feedback she received after her HBO documentary aired?

The artwork for her upcoming world tour, The Mrs Carter Show, has a regal, Marie Antoinette feel about it, so perhaps she's playing on that. I still feel iffy about it, though.

Beyoncé is talented, she's had an illustrious career, she's got her perfect little family and I have no doubt she'll get that Oscar she so desperately wants.

See there, Bey? I took note. There's no need to demand attention with vulgar lyrics. Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll command it without ever having to let your halo fall.

The Mrs Carter Show World Tour kicks off in Belgrade in April. As far as we know, she won't be making a stop in SA. But we've got our fingers crossed.

Here's to grace... something many celebs could learn a thing or two about.
