Cape Town – Folk singer and songwriter Mike Rosenberg, familiar to millions by his stage name, Passenger, is coming to South Africa in February 2015.

Having just wrapped up a sold out tour in Europe, and an already sold out tour in Australia and New Zealand scheduled for January, Passenger will make his way to South Africa with performances set in Durban, Johannesburg and at the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts in Cape Town.

Passenger’s ballad Let Her Go topped the charts in 2013, establishing him as a breakthrough in the international music scene.

Let Her Go not only became one of the UK’s biggest selling singles of all-time; it also spiralled into adoration - being the ninth most Shazamed song in the world, soundtracked to the most popular ad over the Superbowl and over 400 million views on YouTube.

The busking sensation continues to achieve an overwhelming response from fans and their love for Passenger’s beautiful music. Whispers is Passenger’s sixth studio album, and although it only took five weeks to record, this cinematic sound brings Mike’s words to life, with guitar, glockenspiel, melodica and various percussion instruments filtering through.
