Since its inception the band has played at numerous festivals, weddings, private and corporate parties and public gigs – building a following accustomed to their matchless sound.
Their repertoire includes striking vocals and nine instruments: foot drums, acoustic bass, percussion, ukulele, kazoo, banjo, harmonica, acoustic and electric guitar. Influenced by the likes of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Lumineers, The Beatles, Mumford and Sons and even Frank Sinatra, Bottomless Coffee Band has crafted a distinctive sound which is best described as gourmet music.
Elegant and classically trained Esté Rabé effortlessly complements husband Lourens, who honed his skills by spending countless hours improvising garage band style. With a collective aim to inspire and evoke hope through music, their rhythms run sweetly, inspiring raw emotions and inviting you to join them as they find love all over planet earth.
The first single from Room With a View is “What If You Wake Up”. Bottomless Coffee Band is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
