Cape Town - One of South Africa’s most popular and best-selling annual comedy shows, Nando’s presents Mass Hysteria, is heading back to Cape Town by popular demand.

After entertaining thousands of comedy fans up north during its Johannesburg run this past August, Comedy Parliament is coming “home” to where the real seat of government is – Artscape Theatre.

As an unyielding machine of comedy and mockery, the “ministers” take on topical issues, pressing concerns and vital government actions and brutally ridicule them.

To get everyone in the mood for Mass Hysteria Channel24 had a quickie with one of the country’s top comedy politicians – Marc Lottering!

(FYI: A Channel24 quickie is a brief or spontaneous episode consisting of a few frisky questions in which celebs and Channel24 have a brief frolic leaving all parties involved feeling satisfied and craving a cigarette.)

Aweh Joburg! I have landed in the City of Gold. Cheers! Lyric Theatre. Tomorrow Night. One More Sleep #computicket

Name two items we’ll find on your bedside table right now!

Panado. Coaster.

What’s the best birthday gift you have ever received?

A tandem skydiving experience. It was actually a complete friggin’ nightmare as it was a surprise gift, first thing in the morning, on the day of my birthday, and I was half drunk from the surprise party the night before (which shut down at 04:00).

Top or bottom? (When sleeping on a bunk bed)

Both. Not particularly fussy.

Your favourite body part of your biggest celebrity crush?

Feet.

Name the 5 people you will always thank in an acceptance speech.

Parents, Agent, Director and Anwar.

All the deets about the show:

14 October - 25 October 2015

Artscape Opera House Theatre
