Media personality and all-round inspiration Somizi Mhlongo has been living his dream for several years now. Between attending red carpet events, getting engaged and filming his own reality show, Somizi has proven that aspirations can become reality with a lot of hard work and plenty of fun in between. When you’re dripping with this much sauce, your life has to be amazing, right?!

Here are five things about Somgaga’s daily existence that make him #LIFEGOALS:

His lavish house

Last year Somgaga revealed that he was looking to buy a new property in addition to his massive Johannesburg home. In an episode of Living the Dream with Somizi, the Idols judge took to the ‘burbs of Durbs and set his sights on a mini mansion worth, wait for it, R6 million! A few months after the episode aired, the house popped up again – this time on Somizi’s timeline! We’re a tad bit jelly but we’ll live. Can we just take a moment to appreciate this view though? Super splendiferous!

What a mighty God we serve. Thank you Lord for everything big or small.

His whips

Never one to do things by half measures, we obvs expect that Somizi has the best of the best when it comes to his ride and, well, the evidence done made a speech for itself! Following his purchase of a BMW i8 in 2017, Somgaga came through and outdid himself yet again when he bought a Mercedes Benz G350d all within the next week. Need we say more?

Road trip. Solo. Once in a while the best conversations are with thy self.

His shoes

Somizi is known for his expensive taste and OTT fashion sense but we were not ready for the moment he decided to splurge someone’s annual rent budget on a pair of shoes! In an episode from his reality show, Somizi revealed that he had spent R25 000 on one pair of shoes, sending us and the rest of the Twittersphere reeling.

And how can we possibly forget the outrageous Gucci platforms that his friend Vusi Nova copped for him to the tune of R12 000? Sensational!

His ridiculously cute bae

After months of keeping his relationship under wraps, Somgaga finally introduced his bae to the world in January of this year, and we have to admit, he was so worth the wait! Somizi and his fiancé Mohale Motaung are total #CoupleGoals and we couldn’t be happier for them. #LoveLivesHere

The food he munches on When he’s not entertaining the masses on Metro FM or killing choreography, Somgaga is in the kitchen cooking up a storm and sharing his recipes with his followers. His Instagram feed honestly looks like munchy nirvana! Take a look at the yumminess that follows and decide for yourself…
