DStv Now is a free app for all DStv subscribers. Using the app, subscribers get to keep watching M-Net, kykNET and Mzansi Magic literally anywhere, on just about any device, never missing an episode or big sporting event.

How to watch DStv on a laptop

Open a browser window at now.dstv.com. Sign up or sign in using DStv Now login details. Select one of the user profiles and start watching.

Under Live TV, all the channels on DStv package the customer is subscribed to are available to watch online, including SuperSport. Under Catch Up, watch series, movies, documentaries, reality shows, kids’ shows and sports highlights.

Unfortunately, series and movies can’t be downloaded onto a laptop or computer using DStv Now – instead, watch them directly online. The good news is the DStv Now app makes it possible to download shows onto a phone or tablet.

How to download movies and series from DStv on a phone or tablet

- Open the Google Play or App Store and search for DStv Now.

- Install the DStv Now app and sign in.

- Find a series or movie to download and tap the cloud-shaped Download icon.

- Up to 25 episodes, movies or shows can be downloaded to a device, depending on how much storage space is free. Tip: go into Quality Settings and choose Low so the content takes up less storage space.

- Start watching.
