After the first two episodes of Surviving R. Kelly aired on the Crime & Investigation channel on DStv this week, South Africans have been tweeting their reactions to the shocking revelations. It’s a six-part documentary that goes deep into the scandal that has plagued the R&B singer for much of his career. It turns out, much of the rumours are true - in fact, it’s worse than you could imagine.

If you missed Surviving R. Kelly, you can still watch it now on the DStv Now app.

TRIGGER WARNING: Scores of women narrate details of abuse by the singer, which includes the grooming of underage girls.

No wonder Twitter is shook.
