The Roast will be coming to Comedy Central (DStv channel 122) on Monday, 7 May at 21:00 CAT, and will be available as an extended, uncut, uncensored version to Showmax subscribers from Tuesday, 8 May 2018.

The popular Roast format sees the panel of South Africa’s most hilarious comedians and outspoken personalities “roasting” each other before taking aim at the roastee - in this case, Somizi aka Somgaga aka one of SA’s most successful choreographers and radio celebrities, who says he has what it takes to withstand the burn because he’s “thick skinned”.
But when the illustrious panellists who will be roasting you are Kurt Darren, Skhumba, Schalk Bezuidenhout and Ntsiki Mazwai, under the watchful eye of the Roast Master Gareth Cliff, it might be easier said than done to take their burns with a pinch of salt.
