Best, worst and funniest Idols auditions

2010-08-03 14:33

This week we visited the City of Gold on the journey to finding our sixth Idols winner. From the talented to the terrible, it's clear that Johannesburg is full of confidence, if nothing else.

The Best: Bonginkosi
Bongi is a self-taught pianist with a charming theatrical flair and loads of talent. Here he performs Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E.

The Worst: Ashel
Ashel was inspired to take up guitar lessons by last year's winner Jason Hartman. Unfortunately Ashel needed more than inspiration and his electric guitar to stun the judges.

The Funniest: Shirley
Shirley Makgaba tells us she's singing Beyoncé's Halo, but we struggled to hear the similarity. See if you can hear what she's saying.
