Ahmed Ahmed

Hailing from Hollywood now, Ahmed Ahmed was born in Helwan, Egypt, and immigrated to California, USA when he was one month old. You'll recognise him from film and TV shows, like Iron Man, Don't Mess with the Zohan, and the upcoming movie for Fox Searchlight productions. Ahmed is a paid regular performer at The World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood and tours all across America and Europe. He was the winner of the first annual Richard Pryor Award for ethnic comedy at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in Scotland summer of 2004.

Kira Soltanovich

Born in the former Soviet Union, and raised by immigrant parents in San Francisco, Kira Soltanovich has plenty to laugh about. "Like most kids, my parents took me to Disneyland… not for the rides, for the lines. They assumed there’d be food at the end of them." An international headliner, Kira has also performed in a myriad of comedy competitions and festivals, including Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central's Laugh Riots, and at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Let’s hope she’s funnier than she is in her YouTube clips, though – Female Standup comedians are like hen’s teeth. Good ones are even rarer. Sexist but true.
