My greatest memory of Vuyo

As i grew up not knowing my dad untill I'm 23 this year, I started watching SABC2 news channel in the morning from the year 2006 when the first ever TV set was bought in my home.

Funny thing is that we didn't have a dish installed so our TV could play only SABC2,then that made me accustomed to the (mbuli) show.

Mintiro ya vhulavhula..sharp sharp..

Those were the words I would say every morning before I could leave for school.

'He gave great advice'

I idolised him and claimed he's my father I never met, so every morning when he gave advice especially after interviews I would take it, and most notably he emphasised that "Good work by people speaks volumes for them" so that helped me from working hard at school, forget about my absent father.

Now he left me,when I was doing my final fourth-year at the University - very sad and painfull to digest.

I would have loved to say all this to him, but God has His own ways.

Rest in peace Dad, you always be the daddy-figure I always needed and will never have in my life.

RIP
