1) Meg Ryan was born Margret Mary Emily Anne Hyra.

2) After two early roles in Top Gun and Promised Land, Meg Ryan achieved international recognition for the film, When Harry Met Sally.

3) This particular film was Meg Ryan’s first leading role in a romantic drama film.

4) The film went on to earn her a Golden Globe nomination.

5) When Harry Met Sally ranked over $90m and snagged a best original screenplay Oscar nomination for writer Nora Ephron.

6) The infamous movie popularised the concept of the high-maintenance girlfriend and the rebound relationship.

7) The very famous fake orgasm scene was filmed at Katz's Deli on New York's E. Houston Street.

8) The table where the scene was filmed now has a sign above it that reads, "Where Harry met Sally... hope you have what she had!"

9) The woman who says, "I'll have what she's having" after Sally's fake orgasm is the director's mother, Estelle Reiner. The line was voted number 33 on the American Film Institute's list of "Best 100 Movie Quotes in American Film."

10) The movie is ranked 6th on the American Film Institutes list of the 10 greatest films in the “romantic comedy” category.
