SEE BARACK'S 3 TOP TV CHOICES FOR 2019 HERE:

Fleabag

Amazon Prime

The forty-fourth president of The United States says season two of the show was one of his favourite series this year and having watched it too, we can say we totally agree! Here's the official synopsis, according to Amazon Prime, where you can stream the show: "Fleabag is a hilarious and poignant window into the mind of a dry-witted, sexual, angry, grief-riddled woman, as she hurls herself at modern living in London. Award-winning playwright Phoebe Waller-Bridge writes and stars as Fleabag, an unfiltered woman trying to heal, while rejecting anyone who tries to help her and keeping up her bravado all along."

Unbelievable

Netflix

This Netflix show is based on a true story and stars Toni Collette among a stellar cast. It tells the story of what happens when a teen reports being raped, then recants her story, two female detectives follow evidence that could reveal the truth.

Watchmen

Showmax

This HBO comic book reboot is an amazing, slow-burning look at racism and power in a world that doesn't feel so fictionalised at many points. It stars powerhouse actress, Regina King as Sister Night and explores what happens when masked vigilantes are treated as criminals by government agencies, some band together to start a mutiny while others aim to stop it before it yields chaos.
