5 of the best Cape Town Idols auditions

Cape Town – The Idols SA season 12 auditions came to a screeching halt in the Mother City. 

Jack Parow joined the judges in handing out the last group of golden tickets in his home town. 

Usually known for its high calibre of talent the auditions started off really bad but in the end 20 singers made it through to the Theatre Week.

We saw a lot (a whole lot) of the bad singers on the episode, so here's a look at the good singers who didn't get much screen time. 

1. Micaela Kleinsmith broke the golden ticket drought. 

2. Bevin Samuels travelled from PE to Cape Town to slay with Billionaire. 

3. Bongiwe Mngomezulu channelled some Beyoncé.

4. Gospel singer Lusanda Beja brought the spirit with him. 

5. Vuyo Matshikiza was as smooth as Eric Benet.
