1. Channel Zero: The No-End House (Showmax)

The creepy horror anthology returns, this time with a tale about a woman looking for answers about her past in a strange house where every room is a nightmare - and there's no escape... The first instalment, Channel Zero: Candle Cove, is also on Showmax, featuring the tooth monster, which will literally give you nightmares.

2. RAW (Showmax)

Justine is a 16-year-old vegetarian whose appetites, um, change, after she’s pressured into eating meat during a hazing. This starts a dark spiral of lust and hunger in this award-winning horror film that goes where few movies dare to…

3. Last Ones Out (Showmax)

When a zombie outbreak leaves them as the last few survivors, four strangers must team up to escape. But can they trust each other when the stakes to succeed are so high? Find out in this nail-biting South African horror movie!

4. Beware the Slenderman (Showmax)

Who is the Slenderman? This internet-created mythical creature may seem like a joke, but has led to terrible crimes, including the ritual murder of a teen by her friends. Learn more in this shocking, no-holds-barred documentary.

5. Siembamba (Showmax)

Terrifying secrets emerge in this unsettling horror film. A father and son, both medical examiners, are pulled into a mystery while trying to identify the body of a young woman.

8. The Haunting of Hill House (Netflix)

9. Shutter (Amazon Prime)

From the producers of The Grudge and The Ring comes a terrifying new thriller guaranteed to send shivers down your spine... When New York newlyweds Ben and Jane Shaw (Joshua Jackson and Rachael Taylor) combine their honeymoon with a work trip to Japan, they get in a horrific car accident that leaves a young girl dead and the couple traumatised and terrified. They continue with their journey, but that’s not the last they’ve seen of the dead girl...
