A quickie with Shaquille O’Neal

Los Angeles - Basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neal and co-hosts Gary Owen and Godfrey bring you a new show on Sony Max called Upload with Shaquille O'Neal.

On the show the hosts will review the week's funniest online video clips, as well as creating their own viral videos, pulling pranks and making parodies of pop culture with co-hosts Gary Owen and Godfrey as they review and comment on some of the funniest videos on the internet.

The series will also show the hosts create their own viral videos, prank others and make parodies of recent pop culture stories.

In the wake of the shows premiere on Sony Max, the big guy sat down with the channel to answer a few burning questions.

Who came up with the concept of the show and do you think it is very far from basketball?

"I came up with the concept for the show. I took it to truTV and they liked it and we’ve done two seasons now. Hopefully you will like it."

What’s the funniest online video you’ve seen?

"Linda, no."

How many hours a day to you spend scanning the internet for clips?

"I spend about six hours a day."

Part of what’s always endeared you to your fans is your sense of humour. Were you the class clown back in school?

"Yes, I was the class clown in school. My Mother told me this is either going to make you a lot of money or get you in trouble."

Are your friends always worried about you pranking them?

"I don’t really prank my friends. I just go on the internet and find clips and send it to them; just trying to make people laugh."

When you look back at all your career achievements, what are you most proud of?

"I’m most proud of receiving my doctorate degree and winning four championships."

What are some of the luxuries that come with being Shaq?

"Recognition, well liked and get to eat for free (laughs)."

You must meet a lot of people - who would you most like to meet that you haven’t already?

"I would have liked to have met Redd Foxx and I’d like to meet the Queen of England."

If you could have anyone on your show, who would it be and why?

"The Rock."
