Angus T Jones' family fear brainwashing

Los Angeles - Angus T Jones' family and friends are worried he has been brainwashed, reports E! News.

Those close to the Two And A Half Men actor, who apologised on Wednesday for blasting the show as "filth" and urging viewers not to watch it in a video for Forerunner Chronicles, a church which is part of the Seventh-day Adventist movement, fear he will give away his vast wealth to the religious group.

"His mom is really worried and in contact with the producers of the show. The main concern is that he is going to give away all his money to the church," a source told E! News.

"It's like he's been brainwashed. Everyone is shocked and very concerned."

Angus currently earns $350 000 per episode.

Deep Christian values

The 19-year-old actor, who has been on the show since he was nine, claimed it contradicts his deep Christian values and he wants to quit.

"If you watch Two And A Half Men, please stop watching Two And A Half Men. I'm on Two And A Half Men and I don't want to be on it," he said.

"Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it's just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch.

"If I am doing any harm, I don't want to be here. I don't want to be contributing to the enemy's plan... You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't. I'm not OK with what I'm learning, what the Bible says and being on that television show," Jones continued his rant.
