London - Joe Dempsie - known for his roles in the British Skins and Game of Thrones - opened up to The Sun about how he had no idea that the show's producers were going to use real leeches in his raunchy sex scene with the fire-witch Melisandre, played by Carice van Houten.
The scripts for GOT is well-guarded according to the actor and when he went in to do the steamy episode he kept getting winks from crew members on the set.
"Then I read the script and wondered how they were going to do the leeches, are they going to CGI them in? Then I thought ‘no they’re just going to put real leeches on me!’"
"“Some were real and some were props. The real ones they made sure were fed up beforehand. They were just sliding down me.”
Crazy fan-girl
The Baratheon star have also had a taste of weird fan-girls harassing him over social media. A Danish girl had sent a video of herself singing and asking Dempsie on a date - and proceeded to send it to everyone he knows and works with on Twitter.
His fellow cast members found it so entertaining that they forced him to send her a message back. "We freeze-framed the video on her face and took a picture of me kissing her face. She flailed for a bit and that was it!”
It seems our favourite Baratheon can handle all kinds of crazy!
