London – Drama, intrigue and plot twists are on the cards for Downton Abbey season 5.
This season takes place during 1924, the year of Britian’s first Labour party government.
The first trailer of the new season to hit the internet is filled with high drama and tension including a house fire and a crisis with a grandchild.
Cast members Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Jim Carter and Laura Carmichael all return.
New characters will be introduced by guest stars Anna Chancellor and Richard E. Grant.
