Iranian TV series copies Modern Family

Cape Town  – Remember when 7de Laan lifted work from the American sitcom Friends? It turns out that this is seemingly becoming a common practice in the TV world.

An Iranian TV series called Hang Sang has copied the ABC sitcom Modern Family frame for frame using the same stage directions and props.

The only thing that’s missing are the gay characters of Mitch and Cam as the series is screened in a very conservative Islamic Republic.
