Nickelodeon is bringing back the 90’s!

Cape Town - If you’re a child of the 90’s then titles like Rugrats, Hey Arnold! and Aaah!!! Real Monsters will probably ring a bell. Well, these iconic cartoons, which featured on Nickelodeon way back when, are set to make a comeback.

If the latest hints by Nickelodeon are anything to go by, we could soon be revisiting some of our favourite cartoon characters. Having secretly launched a website for the new channel called The Splat, several industry insiders are saying the cartoon channel is hoping to revive some of our favourite shows.

On Friday, the Nickelodeon team started teasing with the cryptic message “The Splat is coming”.

The channel was first mentioned on Saturday during the 90s Fest in Brooklyn, New York. This strengthened insiders’ suspicions that retro toons are in fact coming.
