Johannesburg - Looks like Zola’s (Mutodi Neshehe) brood is expanding on Generations – The Legacy, with the news of former Muvhango actor and Mzansi’s Sexiest Man 2015 title-holder Nkululeko Tshirumbula joining the show’s cast after handing in his resignation last month.
Although it isn’t clear when he will start setting our screens alight on Generations, a source mentioned the hunk, formerly known as Gundo on Muvhango, had started filming on the Generations set on Tuesday.
Nkululeko will join Kabelo Moalusi, who plays Siya, as Zola’s other son Vuyo - who is described as hipster cool personified; someone you’d find hanging out at the Maboneng Precinct or trendy Braamfontein.
"I’m ecstatic and nervous at the same time to be joining a new family, reaching new milestones, but most importantly I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow as an actor," he says of his new role.
"Nkuli has a steady rise in the entertainment industry and we are pleased to have him form part of the Generations – The Legacy family," says the show’s publicist Gaaratwe Mokhethi.
