London - Britain's Princess Beatrice wants to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 23-year-old royal is a huge fan of the British celebrity ballroom contest but was upset when her father Prince Andrew banned her from being a contestant on the BBC programme.
She is quoted by Now magazine as saying: "I absolutely love Strictly.... The costumes, the glamour - it's a real girly show.
"If I were on it, I'd certainly give judge Craig Revel Horwood a run for his money. I mentioned it to dad but it was a stern no."
Last month, Beatrice - whose mother is Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson - visited the show and was seen socialising with contestants afterwards.
Australian actress Holly Valance later revealed she had invited the princess to support her in the competition.
She said: "My friend Princess B came along on Saturday. She's on strict instructions to vote for me. That's the only time I can boss a princess around."
