Johannesburg - Hykie Berg is South Africa's ultimate Survivor.
The 32-year-old Binnelanders actor was voted the winner of Survivor South Africa: Maldives at the finale held in Johannesburg on Thursday.
In addition to the title he won the R1m prize money after surviving 27 days on an island in the Maldives.
He received 7 votes from the jury made up of former tribe members as well as the viewers' vote.
Berg beat out 25-year-old biokineticist Letshego Moshoeu for the title. He is also the first man to win Survivor SA.
