Actually here is the explanation, "Here's what Collins didn't know at the time. Grant taped the therapy session. We're told her lawyer advised her it was legal to secretly record the conversation because in California you're allowed to secretly record conversations to gather evidence the other person committed a violent felony ... and molesting a child under the age of 14 qualifies."

Grant taped this in 2012. She should have handed the tape over to the police the very next day. How many children were molested over the last 2 years?

If there were any instances of molestation after the recordings then she is an accessory after the fact. Being divorced allows her to testify against him. But yes, why 2.5 years later? He'll only be charged if the complainants make statements though.

Misleading headline, should be - Actor Steven Collins Confesses - headline leads people to believe that he is a pastor, He only acted as a pastor, he is not a pastor in real life.

      Les Wood - 2014-10-07 15:07

      He acted like a pastor.

What the hell is wrong with these people? How can anyone find a child sexually attractive? There is no punishment severe enough for predators like this.

      Les Wood - 2014-10-07 15:12

When I grew up, we as children, ran free and I never encountered a single incident of an adult attempting to take advantage of me. Not at boarding school, Sunday School, confirmation classes, school, sport, boy scouts, anywhere. It was not ever a factor. Was it because the penalties were very severe? Were there fewer predators or were things much more hushed up? What has changed?

      Fairooz Samuels - 2014-10-07 16:13

@Les Wood...oh believe me it happened, things were either swept under the carpet or children never encouraged to report these incidents

He is sick but she should have reported him way back when. It took a messy divorce for her to disclose this. She's an accomplice.

      Chase Cameron - 2014-10-07 15:37

This was taped in 2012 by the way.
