Was that SA rich kid a fake?

Cape Town - ICYMI, claims have surfaced that the latest #VuzuRichKid, Alekssandre Fortunato, isn't as rich as shown on TV.

If you're a fan of the new Vuzu reality show then you know it features young South African kids flaunting their lavish lifestyles in front of the cameras. From partying, shopping, to where they eat out and what they drive, it gives an intimate look of the super wealthy and their families.

But according to Times Live, it turns out Aleks' episode contained false information.

A girl by the name of Andy Dlamini called BS the day after the episode was aired last week Thursday, and this is what she revealed on Twitter:

And here is what Aleks, who calls himself a reality star, model and club promoter, had to say...

Vuzu released this statement: "We are aware of the commentary around Vuzu AMP’s reality show, Rich Kids. We are currently engaging with all parties involved to establish the veracity of the claims made. In the meantime we have taken steps to ensure that the episode in question is not re-broadcast. M-Net is committed to bringing viewers the best in local content. Any allegation of this nature is taken seriously and if any production house has acted wrongfully, M-Net will not hesitate to take whatever action may be necessary, which may include cancellation of the production."
