Cape Town – Last week we reported that Abby Lee Miller will be getting an early prison release.
The former Dance Moms star was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for hiding $775 500 worth of income.
She was originally scheduled for release on 21 June, but online records listed her release date as 25 May.
E! Online reports that Miller was transferred from the prison in California to a halfway house in Long Beach where she will serve the remaining two months of her prison sentence.
According to TMZ the Residential Reentry Center will provide Abby with ‘a safe, structured and supervised environment where she'll be given employment counselling, job placement and financial management assistance’.
Abby recently thanked all her supporters in a heartfelt Instagram post.
Alongside the picture of herself she wrote: “I can’t thank everyone enough for the beautiful cards everyone sends me. I have received so many but want to make everyone aware that going forward I will no longer receive cards. The mail rules have changed. The only mail that I will receive will be letters on plain paper or writing paper (lined )in a plain white envelope. Many thanks love you all.”
