According to Generations: The Legacy publicist Nandipha Pantsi, Salamina takes on the role of Christine, head of marketing at Nova Wines – a client of Ezweni. Things get tense when Christine has to choose which of the Moroka brothers is best for her business – Mazwi or Smanga.

“Christine is a brilliant woman at the top of her professional game. She’s confident, outspoken and unapologetic,” Nandipha explained.

She could not confirm how long the character will be on our screens. However, she did say that it’s not a cameo role.

In a statement about her new role, Salamina said, “Getting the chance to join the cast of one of South Africa's biggest soapies is an opportunity I relish. This is another chapter in my love story with TV and acting”.

Her character debuts on tonight’s episode at 8 PM on SABC 1.

Behind the scenes Salamani has been hard at work ensuring that her character has the best physique. She has been going to gym to ensure she looks snatched for this role.

“I am so happy to be back with my family-in-fitness, the @bodytecsa team in Bryanston. I gave Mo and the team at Hobart the challenge of getting me back to TV-readiness because I'm back on TV again. New role loading,” she posted on her Instagram without giving away much.
