Cape Town - Neil Gaiman has released an official video announcing the start of production for the much anticipated second season of the hit Amazon Prime Original series, American Gods.
The video, posted on Gaiman’s personal Twitter account was shot on set at The House on the Rock and includes shout outs from both Neil Gaiman himself, protagonist Shadow Moon played by Ricky Whittle and cast member Yetide Badaki, who will return in her role as Bilquis.

Based on the best-selling book of the same name, American Gods stars Ricky Whittle as protagonist ex-con Shadow Moon, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday, and Emily Browning as Shadow’s wife, Laura Moon.
Season two will see the return of Pablo Schreiber as Mad Sweeney, Yetide Badaki as Bilquis, Bruce Langley as Tech Boy and Kristin Chenoweth as Easter and the addition of some new characters as well.

Excitement is also currently building for the Amazon Prime Original series Good Omens, based on the hugely-popular novel written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, which will launch on Amazon Prime Video around the world in 2019.
