Anthony Mackie to play the lead in Altered Carbon season 2

Cape Town – Netflix has renewed the sci-fi series Altered Carbon for a second season.

Anthony Mackie will take over the role of Takeshi Kovacs from Joel Kinnaman.

The series is based on the science fiction novels by Richard K. Morgan.

It takes place over 360 years in the future, with most episodes set in the year 2384. In the future, a person's memories can be stored on a disc-shaped device and can be transferred to a new body after death.
